Clinical Director

Dr David Anthony Wright was born in Blackburn, Lancashire, but lived most of the early part of his life in Stalybridge, Cheshire. He was educated at The Manchester Grammar School before attending The Royal Dental Hospital in Leicester Square, London.

Qualifying in 1985 he immediately attended the Postgraduate Vocational Scheme in Guildford, whilst practicing as a GDP in a large practice in Woking. He then worked as an associate in a well known West Sussex practice for 3 years before starting his own practice in Angmering in 1991. In 2004 he moved to Harley Street, taking over the rooms formerly used by Dr Robert Tudor-Williams.

He has always attended a large number of post-graduate courses, maintaining a very keen interest in Occlusion. He has been a member of the American Equilibration Society (The world's leading society on occlusion) since 1997, and has attended more of their scientific meetings since then than any other UK dentist.

He has also organised in conjunction with Dr Roy Higson (President of The British Society For Occlusal Studies) numerous courses here in the UK to teach other European dentists about occlusion (ie. the bite) and how it can inter-relate with headaches, neck and shoulder pain and other forms of Occlusal Disease.

He is an active member of The American Equilibration Society, British Society of Occlusal Studies and The Chicago Dental Society.

In his spare time David is a keen Classic Car follower, as well as being a Press Photographer for the Aston Martin Owners Club.
